  • Image Metadata: technical metadata associated with uploaded images (such as dimensions or file format). We do not use image metadata to track your precise physical location.

  • Diagnostics: error logs and performance data.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • provide and operate the Baunze service
  • generate interactive 3D scenes and designs
  • maintain security, reliability, and performance
  • debug issues and improve product quality
  • understand how features are used in order to improve the experience

We do not sell your personal data.

4. AI Processing & Human Review

Baunze uses automated systems and artificial intelligence to process uploaded images and generate visualizations.

To improve our AI systems and to troubleshoot technical issues, authorized members of the Baunze team may occasionally review uploaded images and generated outputs.

This access is:

  • limited to technical support, debugging, and service improvement
  • restricted to authorized personnel
  • never used for marketing or unrelated purposes

5. Storage & Security

We implement a "Private by Design" architecture.

  • Your photos and projects are stored in isolated, user-specific directories.
  • User content is never publicly accessible.
  • Access is granted only via time-limited, cryptographically signed URLs generated for your session.
  • Every request is verified against your unique user ID to prevent cross-user access.

While we use industry-standard safeguards, no system is completely secure.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on trusted third-party providers to operate Baunze. These providers process data only on our instructions.

Our primary sub-processors include:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — secure cloud storage and hosting
  • PostHog — product analytics
  • Sentry — error monitoring and diagnostics

All providers are required to maintain appropriate data protection standards.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information:

  • while your account is active
  • while projects exist in your account
  • as necessary for legal, security, or operational purposes
